Kate Hurford is Corporate Counsel based in the Adelaide office of Omni Bridgeway.

Kate qualified as a solicitor in South Australia and was subsequently admitted to practice in Hong Kong and England and Wales. She has extensive experience in commercial litigation, having worked for Piper Alderman in Adelaide, Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills) in Hong Kong and London, and as an Associate Investment Manager for Omni Bridgeway. Kate writes extensively on all aspects of dispute finance, including government relations submissions. She has also worked as a consultant for legal publisher, Practical Law, part of Thomson Reuters, in UK and Australia. 
 
Kate holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of South Australia.
