Andrew Charles
Investment Committee Member - Consultant
Andrew Charles has been a member of Omni Bridgeway's Investment Committee since March 2018.
Until October 2019, he was a Senior Investment Manager and Head of Omni Bridgeway's Brisbane office, responsible for assessing and managing funding opportunities in Queensland and New Zealand. In this role, Andrew led many of the company's key investments and successfully managed five Representative actions in the Federal Court of Australia.
Andrew joined Omni Bridgeway in 2007 with almost 20 years' experience in commercial litigation. He began his career in private practice, advising clients in sport, banking, insolvency, mining and resources and aviation. He was then seconded as in-house counsel to a Japanese trading company based in Sydney, before later moving to Hong Kong to work as an international lawyer.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology.
