Some new faces and moves at Bentham IMF Limited

John Walker has been appointed the Managing Director of Bentham Europe and Simon Dluzniak from our Melbourne office has relocated to London to work with Bentham Europe. We have a new Investment Manager in Melbourne, Matthew Kennedy, and Simon Weeks has also joined us and is responsible for relationships with Bentham IMF’s institutional clients.

John Walker has been appointed the Managing Director of Bentham Europe and will be progressively relocating to London.  Simon Dluzniak from our Melbourne office has relocated to London to work with Bentham Europe.

We have a new Investment Manager in Melbourne – Matthew Kennedy. Matthew was admitted to legal practice in 2001 and joined the Victorian Bar in 2007.  Matthew was a barrister for almost 7 years, and his general commercial practice included equity and trusts, insolvency and corporations law matters.

Before joining the Bar, Matthew was a solicitor in the financial services group of a large firm, spent a year as an associate to a Federal Court judge and almost three years as an adviser to the Premier and Chief of Staff to a Minister in the Victorian State Government.

Simon Weeks has also joined us and is based in Sydney.  Simon will assume responsibility for relationships with IMF’s institutional clients.  Simon was the General Manager of the national Superannuation and Insurance claims practice of Maurice Blackburn from 2010 - 2014. He was also previously responsible for client liaison across the Maurice Blackburn class actions practice including class action communications for the Air Cargo, Amcor-Visy, Rubber Chemicals, Abalone, NAB CDO and Bushfires Class Actions.
